I’m an experienced project, process, product and people manager with a wide range of expertise in managing enterprise systems teams, a sound academic background and over 18 years of international service in senior capacities. Currently, I’m the Associate Director, Systems at the Centre for Extended Learning (CEL), where I lead an innovative enterprise software development and support team who designs, builds, and supports online learning tech for the University of Waterloo. Prior to joining UW, I held senior higher education sector technical positions in Canada, UK, Malaysia and Sri Lanka where I worked with governments, higher education institutions and TVET institutions in Asia, Africa, Americas, Europe, the Pacific and the Caribbean advising and training them on taking their academic programs online. Further, I come with teaching experience in computer science and IT at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. With a strong list of publications, I have keen research interests in low-code/no-code, EdTech, XR, circular economy, OER and eLearning.
